Below are titles and descriptions for some of Linda’s recent workshops or presentations. The topics can be adjusted to accommodate shorter demo/presentation-style sessions, or extended for hands-on workshops. Detailed outlines can be provided by request.

Image Editing Basics for Photoshop Rookies

No matter your experience level, you will learn tips and techniques for Photoshop in this workshop. Learn to manage image size/resolution, use selection tools effectively, employ common photo editing techniques (e.g. portrait corrections), manage layers, and combine images for creative projects.

Photoshop in Motion!

Photoshop users at any experience level will learn some overlooked but amazing features of Photoshop Creative Cloud version that can expand creativity in student projects. Learn to manage layers, use Puppet Warp, create GIF animations (including Cinemagraphs), and use Photoshop’s video editing timeline to create quick and easy movies.

Selfies and Photoshop for Inspired Classroom Projects

Kids love to take selfies! Over 90 percent of teens post photos online. See how students can use their photos for inspired and personal classroom projects in nearly any curricular area. All you need is a phone, Photoshop, and some basic skills. Creative ideas and online tutorials will be shared.

New Techniques for Compositing in Adobe Photoshop

Learn the latest techniques for creating image compositions in Adobe Photoshop using features like selection magic, content-aware fill, masks, clipping masks, linked smart objects, and more. Some features in this session require version 2019 of Photoshop (or later).

Adobe Illustrator Basics for Infographics or Logos

Using Illustrator Creative Cloud version, learn the concepts of workspace, panels, artboards and the difference between vector and raster graphics. By learning to create and modify vector objects, simple original shapes can be combined to create infographic icons or logos. Additional teaching and learning resources will be shared.

Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop—Separately or Together?

Do you need vector or raster graphics? Learn the difference in this workshop. Participants will first learn the basics and strengths of each program through creative examples, and ultimately learn how Illustrator and Photoshop can effectively work together.

Adobe InDesign Basics for Rookies

Learn to publish like the pros in this workshop by mastering Adobe InDesign tools, frames, concepts and layout techniques for print or online publishing. InDesign can be a bit daunting for beginners, but this workshop will give you the skills you need to create newsletters, brochures, flyers or yearbooks.

Adobe InDesign for Complex or Larger Documents

Some basics InDesign background would help for this session as you learn helpful workflow tips for dealing with longer or more complex documents. Participants will learn how to manage Master Pages (including multiple Master Pages); use Paragraph Styles, Character Styles, and Object Styles; create a Table of Contents, place multiple images quickly, and more.

Acrobat Pro DC—Master PDF Editing for Great Content Delivery

Since PDFs are cross-platform and readable on any device, delivering curriculum content with PDFs is easier than ever. In Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, see the new interface and tools, and learn tips & tricks—including how to add signatures, manage pages, insert video, do audio comments, use scanned documents, and create forms.

Getting Started with Premiere Pro

For new users to Premiere Pro, learn how to manage and start a project, control the workspace, import files and create a Sequence. Editing basics will covered, as well as how to add transitions, titles, credits and audio (soundtrack). Exporting is the final step to the finished movie!
